Description
Most of Jaipur’s monuments are floodlit after sunset and almost nobody visits them. The city also does its best eating in the evening, on streets that are half empty at lunchtime.
We combine the two: a drive up to the fort for the view over the lit city, then a walk through the food streets with a guide who eats there.

The whole grid laid out below, the walls turning from pink to orange, and the lights coming on one district at a time.

The old city, floodlit
Hawa Mahal, the City Palace gates and Albert Hall lit up, with almost no one else photographing them.

Food walk
Four or five stops — kachori, chaat, a lassi, and something sweet at the end. Your guide orders and explains; you decide how adventurous to be.

Where we meet you
Hotel lobby at 17:30 in winter, 18:00 in summer. We adjust to sunset, and will confirm your exact time the day before.
Good to know
- Tell us about food allergies or a vegetarian diet when you book and we will plan the stops around it.
- Everything we eat is cooked to order and served hot.
- Bring a light jacket between November and February — the ridge is colder than the city.
